ဒီနေ့ မတ်လ ၈ ရက်နေ့ဟာ ဆိုလျှင်တော့ International Wom‌‌en's Day ပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

အမျိုးသမီးများအပေါ် အကြမ်းဖက်မှု ပပျောက်ရေး ရည်ရွယ်ရိုက်ကူးခဲ့သော Broken Rhythms ဇာတ်လမ်းတိုရုပ်ရှင်တွင် အခန်းကဏ္ဍ အသီးသီးမှ ပူးပေါင်းပါ၀င် ပုံဖော််ပေးခဲ့ကြသည့် အမျိုးသမီး တစ်ဦးချင်းစီကို Omi Film Production မှတ်တမ်းတင် ဂုဏ်ပြုပါရစေ။

ဒါပေမယ့် လင်မယားကြား ဝင်မပါရဘူးဆိုတဲ့ ရှေးအယူအဆတွေကြားထဲမှာ ကြိုးစားသမျှ အရာမထင်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ရတဲ့အခါ သူတို့ နှစ်ယောက် ဘာတွေဆက်ဖြစ်ကြမလဲ?

နှစ်စဉ် နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၂၅ ရက်နေ့ကနေ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၁၀ရက်နေ့အထိ အမျိုးသမီးများအပေါ် အကြမ်းဖက်မှု ပပျောက်ရေး "၁၆ ရက်တာ လှုပ်ရှားမှု" ကို နိုင်ငံအနှံ့အပြားမှာ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်လေ့ရှိပါတယ်။

နိုဝင်ဘာလ (၂၅) ရက်နေ့ဟာ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ အမျိုးသမီးများအပေါ် အကြမ်းဖက်မှု ပပျောက်ရေးနေ့ဖြစ်ပြီး ဒီဇင်ဘာလ (၁၀) ရက်နေ့ဟာ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးနေ့ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ နိုဝင်ဘာလ (၂၅) ရက်နေ့ကနေ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ (၁၀) ရက်နေ့အထိ ရေတွက်လိုက်ရင် (၁၆) ရက်ရှိပါတယ်။ အဲဒီကာလကို ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝှမ်းမှာတော့ အမျိုးသမီးတွေကို အကြမ်းဖက်မှုနေမှုအမျိုးမျိုး ရပ်တန့်နိုင်ဖို့အတွက် "ဖဲကြိုးဖြူ" လေးများတပ်ဆင်ကာ (၁၆) ရက်တာလှုပ်ရှားမှုလို့ခေါ်တဲ့ လူထုအသိပညာပေး လှုပ်ရှားမှုတွေကို ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်ပေါင်းစုံနဲ့ ကျင်းပလေ့ရှိကြပါတယ်။

ဘာကြောင့်အဲဒီရက်နှစ်ရက်ပါတဲ့ကာလ (၁၆) ရက်ကို ရွေးချယ်ထားရတာလဲဆိုတော့ အမျိုးသမီးများကို အကြမ်းဖက်ခြင်းဟာ လက်သင့်ခံနိုင်စရာ လုံးဝမရှိတဲ့ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးချိုးဖောက်မှုတစ်ရပ်ဖြစ်တယ်ဆိုတာကို မှတ်သားသိရှိစေလိုတဲ့အတွက် ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

အမျိုးသမီးတွေအပေါ် အကြမ်းဖက်မှုရပ်တန့်ဖို့အတွက် ဘာကြောင့်များ ဒီလောက်တောင် အလေးထားဆောင်ရွက်နေရတာလည်းဆိုရင် ကမ္ဘာပေါ်မှာ နေ့စဉ်နေ့တိုင်း အမျိုးသမီးသုံးယောက်မှာ တစ်ယောက်ဟာ သူစိမ်းတွေကအကြမ်းဖက်တာကိုုကြုံတွေ့နေရတဲ့အပြင် သူတို့နဲ့ သိကျွမ်းရင်းနှီးတဲ့ ခင်ပွန်း၊ ချစ်သူ၊ သွေးသားတော်စပ်တဲ့ အမျိုးသားတွေရဲ. အကြမ်းဖက်မှုကို ခံနေကြရတဲ့အတွက် ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

This edition of MEMORY Short Film Fund features a production award of USD$1,000, which has been awarded to five projects and a post-production award of USD$500 awarded to two projects. The special award Women In The Light provides a 6-month premium mentoring support to the concerned film project in addition to the production award.
This program is faithfully supported by the Embassies of France, Switzerland and USA in Myanmar.

Open only to Myanmar filmmakers, this program focuses on the development of short film scripts through specific grants, one-on-one mentoring and group sessions.
