At the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Battsetseg Batmunkh, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Motegi Toshimitsu, paid an official visit to Mongolia on September 3 and 4. During the visit, the President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, received the Japanese Foreign Minister. The Japanese and Mongolian foreign ministers also held official talks, exchanging detailed views on the current state of bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as future goals and areas of collaboration.

Prime Minister of Mongolia N. Uchral is attending the plenary session of the 11th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. During the session, Mongolia and Russia exchanged views on expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation, ensuring stable fuel supplies, and implementing the interim trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union.

An international business forum titled Business Forum 2026, bringing together entrepreneurs, professional associations, and investors from Mongolia, China, South Korea, and Indonesia, was held in Ulaanbaatar. The forum was supported and jointly organized by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Social Democratic Mongolian Women's Association.
