Eurovision Weekend 2025 - Appreciation Post

Eurovision Weekend 2025 in Malta may be over, but the incredible memories made will surely live on forever! ❤️💫 After months of hard work and planning, we experienced three unforgettable days filled with energy, celebration, and Eurovision magic. 🪄 💖

This event would not have been possible without the dedication, support, and collaboration of so many people and organisations 🙏🙌. First and foremost, a heartfelt thank you to:

• Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) and the Ministry for Arts, Lands and Local Government for their invaluable support in securing a fantastic venue for Saturday’s FANvision Song Contest.

• The team at Teatru Salesjan, who welcomed us with open arms and ensured a professional, top-quality setup for the show.

• AX The Palace Malta (Sliema) for hosting the Opening Night.

• Ta' Nenu Artisan Bakery (Valletta) for a warm and delicious Sunday lunch.

• Michelangelo club lounge (Paceville) for providing the perfect space for our AfterParty!

Meet Krista Šujak, representing OGAE Malta! 🇲🇹

Eurovision has always been a special event for Krista and her family. Her earliest memory dates back to Loreen’s iconic win with Euphoria - she was just four years old but already captivated by the magic of the performance.

She participated in Sanremo Junior and many local festivals but her Eurovision journey began as the youngest finalist in MESC 2025 with her song Unheard, where she placed 7th! Music is part of her everyday life and she continues to embrace every opportunity to grow as an artist, by composing and producing music.

This still feels surreal. 🥹

I will be representing Malta at this year’s OGAE Fan Vision and its happening right here in Malta. 🇲🇹 I auditioned with 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗠𝘆 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 and somehow… it really was my time. 💕

Thank you to all 40+ OGAE Malta members who voted, especially those who voted for me. 💥

Big thanks to my parents, my extended family, and my amazing manager who kept pushing me to go for it. 🙏🏻

Can’t wait to live this experience. ✨

The applications to represent Malta 🇲🇹 in the FanVision 2025 are open till this Sunday 20th April! 📲

🚨 Attention ALL Maltese Singers! 🚨

➡️ Malta will once again participate in the Fan Vision Song Contest, which is a festival organized between OGAE clubs across a whole 'Eurovision' weekend.

🎉 This year this event will take place in MALTA 🇲🇹, following Martina Fenech’s win last year, between the 11th and 13th of July.

The contest consists of artists representing their country with a cover of a Eurovision.

🎥📲 Send us a video of yourself singing a Eurovision song that you think suits your voice best on 📧 [email protected] not later than Sunday 20th April.

🎼 The song can be of any country and any year, be creative! The song sent will not necessarily be the song that the chosen artist will represent Malta with. The selection will take place internally, and the chosen singer will be announced in May. Singers need to be at least 16 years old on 11th July 2025.

Kindly note that the participation fee is €10. The costs related to the event must be borne by the winner but OGAE Malta will assist with all the necessary arrangements.
