The Pain of Unreciprocated Care

It's a painful reality to feel that the only person you want to show care to is the one who truly doesn't care at all.

For a while, I carried the weight of being treated in a way I never deserved. It made me question myself more than I want to admit. I kept replaying everything in my mind, wondering what was wrong with me and why I wasn’t enough for someone I cared about deeply.

But after sitting with that pain, I slowly remembered something important: I know the kind of love and care I bring into people's lives.

Loving someone unconditionally isn’t about pretending they’re perfect. It’s about seeing them—messy days, bad moods, mistakes, and all—and choosing them anyway.
​It’s the quiet decision to stay, to listen, and to love without keeping score or holding out for a "better version" of them. Real love doesn't say "I love you if." It just says "I love you. Period."
