The more success we make the more i feel sad only on one thing, that till to date these girls have not been recognised or sponsored by their own country, even though they carry the Maltese flag with pride everywhere they go. When are they going to realise Modeling is a talent too, you need discipline, hard work and great self esteem and courage to be on stage to be judged, not anyone can do it.

Our Story

Janice Grech founder/owner of Vipaj Academy and director/producer of Akila Reality TV Show for models and has been in the industry since the age of 14. She created her own model course following her own experiences in Malta and abroad. Janice believes modeling is an artistic discipline and hence needs its own techniques and long hours of practice to achieve, besides the every day maintenance of your body.

Models attending the academy are approached with the reality of how hard it is to become a top model, hence lessons have to be fun but disciplined and most importantly we help each model to boost their self-esteem.

Another important factor at Vipaj Academy is that every model is taught to be her own agent and encourage her to be an utmost freelancer, by being as such they learn that they are no body’s property and they have rights and no one can force them what to do. They learn to take advice on everything but the final decision is theirs and they should be ready to accept the final consequences good or bad. They learn to be professionals in standing up for themselves in the most appropriate way to speak.
