This weekend, after performing the event “tribute to Avicii”, a full EDM set, seeing people singing the lyrics. It reminded of how incredible and powerful those songs were. I felt incredibly fortunate to have lived through that era and even more so to have shared the stage with some legendary DJs of the time.
It all started with David Guetta’s opening set at La Citadelle. Years later Martin Garrix followed, even invited me to join him for the end of his set. And also Number 1 DJ Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Also some more underground artists but legends such as Dave Seaman, Nick Warren or Oakenfold.
After that, I found myself on the same stage performing before Major Lazer and DJ Snake.
I’ve not only opened for DJs but also live artists I admire like TayC, Dadju and Gente De Zona.
I’ve also evolved as a performer and recently had the opportunity to be with other world-class DJs in Afro House music, including Nitefreak, Moblack and Emmanuel Jal and more.
It’s an honour and privilege to do what I love, and I owe it all to the people who believed in me and supported me, but definitively to the incredible crowd who came to listen.
