Middlesex University Mauritius celebrated a significant milestone on Wednesday, 6 August 2025, as it hosted its 2025 Graduation Ceremony at the Trianon Convention Centre. The event brought together more than 2,000 guests, including graduates and their families, members of the university leadership and staff, industry partners, alumni, and distinguished guests, to honour the achievements of more than 500 students graduating from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Now in its 15th year of operations, the Mauritius campus continues to be a beacon of accessible British tertiary education in the region. The ceremony was officially opened by Professor Mari Jansen Van Rensburg, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Campus Director, who welcomed distinguished guests, including Professor Shân Wareing, Vice Chancellor, Middlesex University, Mr Goran Mandic, Deputy British High Commissioner to Mauritius, as well as members of the university community and industry partners.
