Royals Studio is a creative and production company located in Medine Camp des Masque, Mauritius. We are looking for a freelance photo and video editor and graphic designer to join our joyful team and support the successful development and ex*****on of work for major brands. This role will report to the Creative Director and work closely with the creative team. Our designers are detail-driven and have a fanatical passion for color, composition, and typography. They are comfortable working across media and platforms, and are comfortable jumping between title design, digital advertising, design research, creative documentation, and presentation design. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter who embraces each challenge as an opportunity to deliver great work. Your portfolio demonstrates good taste, sharp instincts, a unique point of view, and flexibility in project type and scale. You are curious by nature, have a strong desire to create work that affects culture, and function best in a fast-paced environment. Day to day responsibilities include: * Logo design - Photo Editing - Shooting - Video Editing - Design research and reference sourcing
* Presentation design
* Design and ex*****on of digital banners, social media posts, video title design, graphic elements for multimedia work
* Color exploration
* Collaboration with creative director, lead creatives, and producers
* Collaboration on creative pitches
* Clearly communicate ideas to internal stakeholders
* Development of style guides and standards documentation Requirements The Ideal Candidate: * Has an incredibly keen eye for detail
* Jumps easily from one account to another without skipping a beat
* Develops a deep understanding of each clients brand
* Works best as part of a team
* Is a well rounded designer and is skilled working in multiple disciplines
* Stays ontop of current trends in advertising, popular culture, and current events What you bring: * A strong work ethic
* 2 years minimum of design experience with a strong portfolio of work
* A deep knowledge and understanding of color, typography, and designing for multimedia
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Google Suite, Keynote, and a working knowledge of Premiere and After Effects/ Davinci
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Leading and/or supporting the development of instructional videos, a vignette video series, and promotional videos.
*Filming of subjects through a remote and virtual platform. Preparing video subjects/talent and providing guidance to subjects for an optimal filming environment.
*Video editing of new and existing b-roll footage; integration of sound and audio files, and graphic elements.
*Ensuring that feedback collected from clients, various sources, and partners and is considered in the formulation of the videos.
*Working alongside the communications team to offer ideas and support the creation of supplemental curriculum and communications materials.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
