The knife attack on Saif Ali Khan during a burglary attempt at his Bandra home in January 2025 shocked the country. But years before Saif’s terrifying experience, his sister Soha Ali Khan had also faced a frightening robbery attempt at her Mumbai residence. The actor recently opened up about the incident and recalled how Kunal Kemmu caught the thief while she froze in fear.

Speaking to Yuvaa, Soha Ali Khan admitted that she did not react bravely when the robbery attempt took place. She said, “When our house was broken into, and Kunal caught the thief many years ago, I stood in the corner and cried. It wasn’t my finest moment. I want to be kind to myself by saying that it was in the middle of the night, and I wasn’t prepared, but I definitely could’ve been more useful. I’m probably not the bravest person. My system tends to shut down when there’s something happening. I am working on it.”
In an earlier interview with Hauterrfly, Soha had revealed more details about the burglary attempt. She said, “My own flat was broken, and burgled 10 years ago, and Kunal caught the thief. So, for my mother, both her children’s flats in Mumbai have been broken into. So, then we feel like, oh, it’s quite close to home, literally. We don’t live in that house anymore, but when I lived there, it was on the first floor.”
