On the occasion of International Day for Monuments and Sites, Maritim Resort & Spa opened its doors to the public. We were able to experience its heritage trail by the Citron River, the ruins of Balaclava, a former water mill, the sugar chimney and the resort's best kept secret : a small waterfall hidden behind banyan trees and volcanic rocks. Fun day for kids with animal farm, horse riding and playground.

À compter du 1er mai 2026, Shirin Gunny prendra la direction de l’Association des Hôteliers et Restaurateurs de l’île Maurice (AHRIM), succédant à Jocelyn Kwok après quinze années à la tête de l’organisation.

Cette transition stratégique intervient dans un contexte de transformation majeure du secteur de l’hôtellerie à Maurice, entre transition écologique, compétitivité internationale et évolution des modèles touristiques. Diplômée de HEC Montréal et ancienne CEO de l’Association of Mauritian Manufacturers, Shirin Gunny apportera son expertise en structuration d’écosystèmes économiques et en leadership institutionnel pour accompagner la prochaine phase de développement de l’industrie hôtelière mauricienne.
