Difference Between the Nomination Phase & Voting Phase
1. Nomination Phase
The Nomination Phase is the first stage of the awards process. Its purpose is to identify and shortlist the artists, songs, or projects that will officially headline in the awards.
What happens during this phase:
The public can submit names of artists they believe deserve recognition.
All submissions are reviewed and filtered to avoid duplicates or ineligible entries.
A final shortlist the official nominees is created for each category.
Goal:
To ensure that only the most deserving candidates make it to the official nominees list.
2. Voting Phase
The Voting Phase begins only after the official nominees have been announced.
What happens during this phase:
The public votes for their preferred nominee in each category.
Each vote contributes to deciding the final winners.
At the end of this period, the votes are verified and tallied.
Goal:
To determine the winner from the shortlisted nominees.
