Farmers across the country are benefiting from the Hope Fields Initiative, launched by Apostle Clifford Kawinga, founder of Salvation for All Ministries International.
The initiative targets local farmers, aiming to support their agricultural endeavors.
In an interview with Angaliba News, Apostle Kawinga explained that the initiative is a way to put the Word of God into action. "Jesus Christ teaches us to share what we have, which is why we engage in charity work," he emphasized.
Aisha Mwachande, chairlady of the Mkalo Scheme, expressed gratitude for the initiative, promising that her group would work diligently and utilize the farming tools provided effectively.
In Chiradzulu district, four clubs - Kaanani Farmers Club from Traditional Authority (T/A) Nkalo, Shalomu Farmers Club from T/A Mpunga, Ziyoni Farmers Club from T/A Maoni, and Eden Farmers Club from Senior Group Village Headman Namande - are set to benefit from this initiative. Each club comprises 300 farmers.
The clubs have received substantial support, including 50 bags of fertilizer, 15 hoes, and 10 packets of maize seeds per club.
Additionally, they received 2,000 bags of maize, 1,000 loaves of bread, and 2,000 drinks.
This initiative further expands the reach of Hope Fields, supporting local farmers in their quest for sustainable agricultural practices.
