Caution to DPP Supporters: Refrain from Premature Celebration Prior to Final Vote Counts

It is unfortunate to note that DPP supporters are celebrating prematurely, prior to the finalization of vote counts.

They appear to be overlooking the four strong districts that could potentially surpass the combined votes of both the southern and eastern regions.

Districts such as Lilongwe Rural, Dedza, Dowa, and strongholds of Chakwera are crucial. While Chakwera may share votes with Mutharika in Lilongwe City, all Town Councils, Municipals, Salima, Kasungu and Nkhotakota, this does not guarantee a win for Peter Mutharika. Notably, the votes of three districts in the southern and eastern regions can be overcome by one district in the central region.

Ultimately, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is poised to win the election, albeit by a narrow margin.
