As a videographer, if you had the money to buy all the gear you want, ask yourself if you have clients who are going to pay accordingly.
You can't buy a Red camera and film projects of less than $100, it's a poor business decision, the camera will even be broken before making a profit 📈 with it.
Buy gear according to the demand 🫴 you have now.
Create a client base first with the gear you have or hiring gear.
Clients don't hire me because I have good equipment, they hire me because I can deliver what they want.

Photography is not as easy as clients think it is...after taking a 1000 pictures, you have to seat down and select the good ones then edit them. It takes time but clients will call you immediately after the event to send them pictures.
To make sure that you dont look like you are delaying, one cool trick I use is to make sure every picture is intentional and looks good straight from the camera
So that immediately after the event if they want some pictures I can happily send them JPEGS and tell them am gonna need time to edit the RAW Pics
That way they will feel satisfied and give you time to make sure you do a great job

Many say... You need a lot of money to be a videographer because gear is expensive
Thats not so true, the Reality is While big-budget equipment is needed, many successful videos are made on tight or even micro budgets.
Creativity, resourcefulness, and dedicated people are often more important than a massive financial outlay...
