We Are protesting the intentions of YAMAHA motors corporation on their intentions to appoint a foreign company as a sole Distributors of their products when all along we have been selling, marketing and promoting their products and produced tremendous results, we have sold many Yamaha Motorcycles and spares more than any other company in Malawi for the past 5 years, we have pushed so hard, we didn't rest the past 5 years.

We have made recommended after sales support Nation wide backed by our Mobile clinics

We pushed our Capital investments from about 210 Million kwacha in 2021 to about 4.9 Billion kwacha in 2025 excluding fixed and moveable assets,

'This is not a small achievement'

We are releasing our audited account financial report before the end of July, Yet they still want to push us out of the market and Industry just because we are Black

Yet we also create opportunities of employment

Today YAMAHA went to the supreme court of appeal to vacate the injunction that stops them from appointing foreigners as sole Distributors in Malawi, this injunction was granted by the High Court some 2 years Ago.

The Only Offence that we have committed at YAMAHA is that we are Black and from Malawi yet they want to trade in the same Land of Malawi.

We raised our grieves to Commesa CFT in Botswana and they wrote YAMAHA not to proceed with these racial practices, YAMAHA did not respond to anything until today.

The Supreme Court of Appeal Judge His Lordship Justice Mkandawire has reserved the Land Mark Rulling to a period of less than 21 Days.

Up until then he held the keys of Our Future.

a high light...

if you are an employer who is mandated to put your employees on pension (and group life insurance cover) and you haven't, the employees are Entitled to a gratuity of 10 percent per month for all months worked...

5 percent gratuity is only paid to those who are exempted from pension according to pension act 2023.. and these include domestic workers, seasonal workers, MPs in their capacity as MPs, Expatriates on temporary work permits...

we are strongly encouraged to comply because The Reserve Bank of Malawi when involved will add interest and may impose fines as well.

we don't have a choice. let us comply.

Below are approved fees for technical (public) colleges.... Colleges may charge extra fees for IDs, Administration or Student Union Council.

Remember you can ask us questions on Technical colleges administration issues and we may be able to assist you.

Ask questions on Bursary, discipline management, selection etc.

Sad or rather interesting to hear that KEN B WAZAKANENA (what is his real name, anyway) is struggling to register or rather pay school fees at Soche Technical College where he would like to study a technical course.

Fees at Soche Technical College for those selected by Ministry of Labour as day scholars is only k25,000 per term.

And if you are lucky to be selected on General bursary you are covered you only have to pay k5,000 for ID for first term only and k2,000 for all other terms as Students Union Council fee.

The Bursary also covers examination fees which is now k35,000 only for level one.

We aren't judging whether he can afford that or not but we can provide guidance on the bursary to whoever is interested.

What should you do when you are approaching a roundabout but you haven't figured out which route to take?

Don't panic!

Ride inside the round about, indicate right as you are approaching and keep riding inside the roundabout while figuring out the route to take by reading sign posts for example... You can be riding inside the round about many times without necessarily disturbing traffic....

Remember we offer free individual riding lessons to those with their own bikes in Phalombe or Blantyre.
