TRINITY COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES – NOVEMBER 2026 INTAKE

Trinity College of Health Sciences, under CHAM, is inviting applications for:

1. Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery Technician (NMT) – 3 years

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• MSCE/equivalent with 4 credits including English, Biology, Physical Science/Physics/Chemistry and another science subject.

• Age: 16–45 years

• Tuition: K600,000/semester

• Boarding: K180,000/4 weeks

2. Diploma in Public Health – 3 years

• MSCE/equivalent with 4 credits, including English and at least 2 science subjects.

• Tuition: K550,000/semester

• Boarding: K180,000/4 weeks

3. Certificate in Pharmacy

• MSCE/equivalent with 6 credits including English, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry.

• Tuition: K600,000/semester

• Boarding: K180,000/4 weeks

Application fee: K15,000 (non-refundable)

AGE SHOULD NOT STOP ANYONE FROM PURSUING EDUCATION

27-year-old Isaac Doga from Nsanje has returned to school after years away from education.

He repeated Standard 8 at Dinde Primary School, sat for this year’s exams and has been selected to Nyamadzere Community Day Secondary School.

Doga says he once gave up on his dream of becoming a soldier due to challenges, but free secondary education motivated him to return to school.

MEDICAL REHABILITATION COLLEGE (MRC)

Malawi Against Physical Disabilities (MAP)

The college is inviting applications for the following 3-year diploma programmes:

1. DIPLOMA IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

MSCE or equivalent O-Level qualification

Credits in English and Mathematics

Credits in two science subjects, including Biology and Physics/Chemistry

Equivalent qualifications from other recognised institutions will be considered.

2. DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL REHABILITATION TECHNICIANS

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

MSCE or equivalent O-Level qualification

Credits in English and Mathematics

Credits in two science subjects, including Biology and Physics/Chemistry

Equivalent qualifications from other recognised institutions will be considered.

COURSE FEE

MK650,000 per semester (6 months).

Fees are subject to change due to economic reasons.

Fees can be paid in two instalments.

The college is non-residential.

Only students who are able to manage the school fees will be considered.

MODE OF SELECTION

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend oral interviews.

A non-refundable administration fee of MK25,000 is required from all prospective candidates.

REGISTRATION

14 September 2026 – 9 October 2026

Oral interviews are scheduled for 12 October 2026 at the Medical Rehabilitation College premises in Blantyre, near Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Classes are expected to commence on 11 January 2027.

Prospective students are required to bring:

Original MSCE certificate or notification of results

Passport-size photo
