PROPHET AUSTIN LIABUNYA UNDER FIRE

On 1 January 2015 in Lilongwe prophet Liabunya prophesied that Zambian opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema will win the January 20, 2015 elections but instead Edgar Lungu from the ruling party won the elections.

On the same day Liabunya also prophesied that Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe will not go past December 31, 2015, he will die.
But here we are January 1, 2016, Mugabe is still alive.

At the moment questions are lingering in many people's minds about prophet Liabunya.

The Malawi queens have failed again to dislodge South Africa on position 5 in the world and position one in Africa by loosing to South Africa in their last game at the netball world cup. But the positive part of it for Malawi is that Malawi's Mwai kumwenda "in the picture" has received an individual trophy for being the best player of the tournament(queen of the court)

The death of this young man should serve as a lesson to all football administrators in malawi. The perpetrators of violence during football games are supposed to be punished severely.
And what is more painful is the fact that SULOM did nothing in support of this young man and his family when he was admitted at Queen Elizabeth central hospital. The money realised from the fine Red Lions paid was supposed to be used to cover medical bills . But nobody knows whether this boy was compensated or not. REST IN PEACE!

Baby Born On Boat As Mum Rescued From Floods. A mother has given birth to a baby boy while on a boat carrying relief supplies to Brazil’s flood-hit city of Linahers.

The birth took place after a disaster relief team was told by a villager that a pregnant woman needed to be urgently taken to hospital.

Two firefighters and a volunteer reached the expectant mother by boat.

During the return journey, one of the firefighters realised they would have to help the woman deliver the baby there and then.

"Life is precious. Many have died in the floods. I think the birth of the child was a miracle made by our hard work," one of the firefighters said.

The 22-year-old mother had suffered labour pains a day earlier, but was unable to get to hospital as all transport had been cut-off by the floods.

Flooding caused by more than 10 days of heavy downpours has killed at least 23 people and displaced 61,000 others in 52 cities in Espirito Santo state.

In the neighbouring state of Minas Gerais at least 18 people have died.

Linahers, where many locals living in mountainous areas are unreachable on land due to damaged bridges, is one of the most severely affected areas.

Rescue teams can only approach the isolated areas by helicopters or boats to provide disaster aid.

A Chinese man who lost his right hand in an accident at work has had it successfully reattached after doctors grafted it to his ankle for a month.

Xiao Wei underwent reattachment surgery in Changsha in Hunan province after badly injuring himself in November.

Initially, doctors said they would be unable to save his limb.

Mr Xiao said: "I was just shocked and frozen to the spot, until colleagues unplugged the machine and retrieved my hand and took me to the hospital.

"I am still young, and I couldn't imagine life without a right hand."

However, doctors at a larger hospital offered a solution and opted to sew the hand to the ankle to stop it dying while they treated his other injuries.

Mr Xiao's doctor told Top of the news: “His injury was severe. Besides ripping injuries, his arm was also flattened. We had to clear and treat his injuries before taking on the hand reattachment surgery.”

Nearly a month after his hand was severed, Mr Xiao had recovered sufficiently to undergo reattachment surgery.

According to doctors he will need to undergo several other procedures, but they are hopeful he will regain the full function of his hand.
