Blantyre West Zone Adventurer Camp Concludes

The Blantyre West Zone Adventurer Camp has concluded today at ATEF Academy, with children benefiting from both physical and spiritual activities.

The camp, held under the theme “Walking with Jesus,” provided Adventurers with an opportunity to learn various practical and spiritual lessons.

Representing the South West Malawi Conference, MG Kondwani Chifunga encouraged the children to put into practice the knowledge and skills they gained during the camp and allow the lessons to positively influence their daily lives.

The successful camp has equipped the young participants with valuable skills while strengthening their spiritual growth and fellowship.

South West Malawi Conference Adventist Youth Ministries
Kabula Hill SDA Church successfully held its 2026 Pathfinder Camp from 20–23 August 2026 at Nkopola Lodge Campsite, with 120 Pathfinders and leaders in attendance.

The four-day camp provided participants with both spiritual and practical experiences, including devotions, camp cooking, tent pitching, drill and marching, hiking, swimming and water safety, Christian drama, obstacle courses, games and community outreach.

A key highlight was a ferry ride on Lake Malawi and a visit to Madelco Fisheries, where the Pathfinders learned about fish farming and management.

The camp also recorded an increase in Pathfinder and leader participation. The programme concluded with a campfire featuring fellowship, singing and various activities.

Participants now look forward to the Malawi Union Conference Pathfinder Camporee in 2027 and the SID Pathfinder Camporee in 2028.
