Smiles as the country introduces and launches the first Child Protection Information Management System (CPMIS) today.

The introduction and launch of this strategic document by the Ministry of Gender, Malawi is a timely intervention and commitment to safeguarding the rights of children in Malawi.

Violence against children in Malawi (including digital violence) has reached alarming levels. Thus the urgent need to adopt this tool, CPMIS.

I suggest massive awareness of the new CPMIS and reporting portal on the online spaces to ensure its effective implementation. It is our collective responsibility to identifying and reporting cases of violence with speed in order to facilitate timely justice to eradicate cases of violence against children in the country.
