AMUJO DONATES TO 2025 MSCE CANDIDATES IN CHIKWAWA

In an effort to empower students in rural communities, the Association of Muslim Journalists (AMUJO) on Thursday 26th of June, 2025 visited Nsenjere and Nkumaniza Community Day Secondary Schools in Chikwawa Nkombezi.

The visit was aimed at offering motivational talks and donate educational materials to candidates expected to write this year's Malawi School Certificate of Education Examinations in the two schools.

Among others, AMUJO donated scientific calculators to 254 MSCE candidates from the two schools.

The Association's Deputy Secretary General Owings Chawanda led the AMUJO team to Chikwawa.

On Saturday, the 14th of June 2025, the Association of Muslim Journalists (AMUJO) held it's second annual general meeting at Malawi Sun Hotel in Blantyre under the theme 'Promoting Peaceful Co-existence through Ethical Journalism'.

The Guest of Honour was Honourable Minister of Water and Sanitation Abida Mia.

Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,

“When a person performs salaah, performs wudhu/ablution well, and perfects its ruku/bowing and sajdah/prostration, the prayer says: May Allah preserve you as you have preserved me!

When he performs his ruku poorly, neither perfecting its ruku nor its sajdah, the prayer says: May Allah destroy you as you have destroyed me!”

(Musnad al-Bazzār 2691)
