All is set for Malawians to see progress under the 'Blue Alliance administration' as state Second Vice-President Enock Chihana has urged citizens to remain confident in the administration, saying it is pushing forward with measures aimed at easing current national challenges.

Speaking during a ‘Thank You’ rally at Nchalo Ground in Chikwawa, Chihana said President Peter Mutharika’s government is focusing on practical solutions to improve daily living conditions.

He cited ongoing interventions aimed at stabilising food supplies, ensuring consistent fuel availability, lowering fertilizer prices and expanding access to essential goods and services.

Chihana said some of the current economic pressures were inherited from what he described as the previous administration’s poor handling of key national issues, noting that the Mutharika-led government is now working to address those gaps.

He urged citizens to remain patient, expressing confidence that the ongoing reforms will soon deliver meaningful progress.

In the September 16 presidential election, over 200,000 people in Chikwawa and Nsanje voted for Mutharika, a development Chihana said reflects the region’s confidence in the new administration.
