Back in 2015, when I used to DJ at Livingroom, I met DJ Slow Mo. We kicked off on the right foot… until two weeks later when he came to me and said, “Maaz, your transitions hurt my ears so much I have to stand outside to avoid them.” 😂😂

I hated the guy for two weeks straight. I even made a folder called “Kill Slow Mo” 😂😂

But a few weeks later, I watched him do a back-to-back set with VJ… and that humbled me instantly. I went to him and said, “Slow Mo, teach me.” That’s when the real journey began.

Late nights at Livingroom (Cafe 92), when everyone had left, we would stay behind practicing every Friday and Saturday. Those sessions shaped me.

The point is:
It’s not easy to put your pride aside and learn. But once you develop a mindset of learning, you’ll prosper. The moment you think you know it all, things will start going downhill before you even notice.

Today I am nominated for Maso Awards , 3rd time in a row.

I’m truly lucky to have DJ Slow Mo in my life. 🔥🙏
