CoST Malawi is thrilled to announce that we are one of only three CoST member countries worldwide to receive the prestigious Transparency Award, out of 16 globally! This honor recognizes our innovative efforts to publish reliable data on public infrastructure and to embed robust transparency practices in every stage of project planning and delivery.

During the award presentation, the Chairperson of CoST Malawi, Eng. Samuel Biton, emphasized that the recognition is the result of dedicated work by all members. He reiterated that the innovative platforms developed by the initiative not only ensure data accuracy but also actively involve citizens in infrastructure planning and oversight.

Our dedicated team has developed groundbreaking platforms that not only ensure data accuracy but also actively engage citizens in oversight and decision-making. By shining a light on infrastructure planning and procurement processes, we’re building trust, driving accountability, and improving service delivery across Malawi.
