The ministry of Natural resources and climate has hailed a third National Youth conference on Climate change saying it enhances the contribution of Youth in the fight against climate change.
Speaking at the Conference today in Lilongwe, Principle Environmental Officer at the ministry, Yamikani Idriss says it's significant to rank Youth in the fore front for a successful Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and in the attainment of Climate Change justice.
Idriss says many Youth under National Youth Network on Climate Change (NYNCC) have adapted several mechanisms in curbing possible threats to Climate Change.
A Youth representative, Linda Kapenga from Mulanje District Social welfare office pleads with the government to partake in incorporating Youth in different projects to making sure that Youth are taking part on issues to do with Development.
