Kelvin Sings Drops New Album “Seven”
Malawi’s urban gospel community woke up buzzing with excitement today. Many WhatsApp statuses were flooded with screenshots of Kelvin Sings’ brand-new album titled “Seven.”
The R’n’B gospel star had promised this album during an interview with DJ Inkosi on SMC on 4th October 2025, and just like he said, he has delivered. The project features big names like Beracah, Base Cube, Esther Chungu from Zambia, Purpose Music, and Praise Umali.
The album comes with 12 fresh tracks including Mercy, Sungeni, and Kokuya, songs that were never released as singles. The only familiar title is Chimwemwe, but even that one appears as a remix, different from the single he dropped last December. Kelvin named the album “Seven” to celebrate his seven-year journey of serving God through music.
On his page, Kelvin wrote “This album is my conversation with God. I take you in on this journey I have had with Him for the past 7 years. It’s emotional, it’s contemplative & it’s beautiful. I hope some of my vulnerable chats with God will invite you to get closer to Him.”
Even KBG of Nyali Muzik shared his thoughts on Facebook, saying “This is the best album I have listened to this year.”
The album “Seven” is now available on all streaming platforms. Go and give it a listen—you might just find your new favorite worship anthem.
