🎤 Vacancy: Voice-over Artist (2 Positions – Contract Basis for 10 days)
Project: Ndale M'manja – WhatsApp Political Education Chatbot
Organization: Malawian National Youth in Politics (MNYP)
Deadline: 20 July 2025

We are producing short, engaging voice clips for our WhatsApp political chatbot, and we’re looking for 2 dynamic Voice-over Artists (1 male & 1 female preferred) to help us bring the content to life in clear, youthful tones.

Your role will include:

📌Recording short civic education scripts in English
📌Delivering voice-overs with clarity, energy, and a friendly tone
📌Collaborating with the content team to ensure the message is clearly delivered
📌Submitting high-quality audio files (home recording setup is an advantage)

💡 You are the right fit if you:

📌Have a clear, expressive voice and can speak confidently
📌Can interpret scripts in an engaging, conversational tone
📌Have experience in voice-over, radio, podcasts, or stage performance (an advantage)

Preferably, you should be located in Mzuzu.

Your role will include:

📌 Designing branding materials for the chatbot (logo, templates, icons)
📌 Creating social media graphics and visual guides for political topics
📌 Collaborating with content and tech teams to produce engaging visuals
📌 Ensuring all visuals align with our youthful, inclusive brand identity

💡 You are the right fit if you:

📌 Have strong design skills (Adobe Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.)
📌 Can translate ideas into clean, appealing visuals

We are developing a WhatsApp-based political education chatbot to help young people access civic knowledge in a simple, interactive way. We’re looking for a Programmer – Chatbot Developer to help us build, test, and launch the chatbot.

Your role will include:

📌Designing and developing a functional chatbot (using WhatsApp Business API, Twilio, or similar)
📌Creating conversational flows in collaboration with the content team
📌Ensuring smooth integration with WhatsApp and backend systems
📌Maintaining and improving the chatbot based on user feedback

💡 You are the right fit if you:

📌Have experience building chatbots (WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, etc.)
📌Are proficient in backend languages like Python, Node.js, or JavaScript
📌Understand API integration and cloud deployment

Bonus: Familiarity with chatbot platforms like Dialogflow, Rasa, or GPT APIs

Since 1964, Malawi has made major progress across all sectors. Here are 10 key achievements that show how far we've come:

1️⃣ Democracy – Embraced multiparty democracy in 1994. Voter turnout has often exceeded 70%.
2️⃣ Education – Free primary education since 1994. Enrollment rose from 1.9M to 4.5M+.
3️⃣ Health – Child mortality dropped from 234 (1990) to 35 (2022). 1M+ on HIV treatment.
4️⃣ Agriculture – FISP program boosted food security. Maize production doubled in key seasons.
5️⃣ Women’s Leadership – First female president in 2012. Women hold 23% of seats in Parliament.
6️⃣ Youth Power– Youth make up 60% of the population and are increasingly active in leadership.
7️⃣ Infrastructure – Roads upgraded, phone access over 60%, electricity coverage now at 14%.
8️⃣ Global Role – Malawi contributes to UN peacekeeping & global development.
9️⃣ Tourism & Culture – Lake Malawi is a UNESCO site. Parks & culture attract global visitors.
