Kugwiritsa Ntchito Ndalama za Boma Mosaloledwa: Akuzengedwa mlandu wogwiritsa ntchito $180 miliyoni (K313 biliyoni) popanda chilolezo cha nyumba ya malamulo, zomwe zikuphwanya malamulo oyendetsera ndalama.
Kubwereketsa Ndalama za Boma Mosaloledwa: Gulu ili likuzengedwa mlandu wopereka ngongole ya $23.6 miliyoni (K41 biliyoni) ku Salima Sugar Company popanda chilolezo cha National Assembly.
Kutsimikizira Ngongole za Boma Mosaloledwa: Akuzengedwa mlandu wotsimikizira ngongole za $118 miliyoni (K205 biliyoni) ku Salima Sugar Company popanda chilolezo chofunikira.
Kupereka Malipoti Abodza a Zachuma: Akuzengedwa mlandu wopereka zikalata zabodza, monga satifiketi ya magawo ya $35 miliyoni (K61 biliyoni) yopanda chilolezo ku Salima Sugar Company.
Kugulitsa Zachinyengo: Akuzengedwa mlandu wogwiritsa ntchito zisankho zabodza kuti apeze $130 miliyoni (K226 biliyoni).

First Lady Madame Monica Chakwera has encouraged Qadria Muslim women to be pioneers in raising climate change awareness messages in the country.

Chakwera made remarks when she presided over the Qadria Muslim women National Dawah held at Lilongwe Community Centre ground in the district.

Addressing the gathering the women, the First Lady expressed her gratitude for taking part in this year's Qadria Muslim Women National Dawah and advised the muslim women to be in the forefront in spreading climate change messages and to continue working on preserving and managing the environment inorder to avoid issues associated with climate change such as flooding and drought.

She said climate change highly affects women in the society hence a need for them to be good custodians of environmental management.

Minister of Water and Sanitation, Abida Mia, advised the Qadria women to dress modestly and follow values and doctrine of Islam and also encouraged them to teach Muslim girls in their communities to be committed in pursuing education.

Mia urged Qadria muslim women to continue loving each other and to be positive contributers in national developmental activities .

"We need to teach moral values to our children in our societies. As muslim women, we must show unity among each other inorder to develop our communities and the nation" said Mia.

National secretary for Qadria women committee Khadija Tambala, commended the First Lady for showing commitment in taking part in this year's dawah despite her tight schedule. She said Qadria women in the country continue to enjoy the relationship that is in existence between them and the office of the first lady.

"The first lady has always been with us and as Qadria Muslim women we are very delighted to have the her amidst us, this is what we call love" said Tambala

This year's Qadria Muslim women National Dawah is being held under the theme, "Empowering Women to Fight Climate Change.

After inspecting the progress on the construction of Zomba Stadium in the afternoon today, Local Government, Unity and Cultlture Minister Honourable Richard Chimwendo Banda is currently holding a meeting with Blantyre City Councillors at the Civic Offices. The Minister is in a company of his deputy Honourable Owen Chomanika.

They are discussing issues bordering on development performance of the City. Upon assuming his ministerial office at Local Government in February this year, Honourable Chimwendo said his passion will be on developing Local Cities, municipalities and local councils.
