EKHAYA FC PART WAYS WITH HEAD COACH CHATAMA

Ekhaya FC have parted ways with First Team Head Coach Enos Chatama with immediate effect.

The club says the decision follows a review by its leadership and is in the best interest of the team and its objectives for the season and beyond.

The club leadership has thanked Chatama for his contribution during his time at the club, having guided Ekhaya to a top-eight finish in his first season and winning the Airtel Top 8 trophy.

Meanwhile, Fundi Akidu will take charge as interim coach, assisted by Moses Chavula, as the club begins the process of finding a new head coach.

MALAWI SEEKS STRONGER LINKAGES BETWEEN SOCIAL PROTECTION AND AGRICULTURE

Malawi is seeking stronger linkages between social protection and agriculture to improve support for vulnerable communities and livelihoods.

As part of this effort, LUANAR, through its Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development (CCEPD), in partnership with the Government of Malawi and the United Nations Global Accelerator Joint Programme, is conducting a five-day Training of Trainers for social protection and agriculture personnel from nine districts in the Southern Region.

The training, which started on Monday in Blantyre, is piloting a new LUANAR short course designed to equip practitioners with skills to better integrate social protection programmes with agricultural interventions.

The training will also be rolled out in other regions in the coming weeks.

COWBOYS RIDE INTO HISTORY! 🤠🏆

Ekhaya FC have done the unthinkable!

The Airtel Top 8 debutants have stunned the football fraternity, beating Mighty Wanderers 2–1 in the final at Bingu National Stadium to lift the trophy in their first-ever appearance in the competition.

And what a journey it has been for the Cowboys.

They came into the tournament knowing they would have to face giants — and they did exactly that. First, they knocked out Nyasa Big Bullets. Then came Blue Eagles. And in the final, they finished the job against Mighty Wanderers.

Three giants. Three statements. One trophy.

Ekhaya only earned their place in the Top 8 after an impressive debut season in Malawi's top-flight league, finishing among the country's best eight teams.

Now, just one season after arriving in the elite league, the Cowboys have gone all the way.

First appearance. First final. First trophy.

Ekhaya FC have arrived — and they have arrived in style.

Izi zayankhulidwa lachiwiri pa mwambo opereka chikho cha za ulimi ( Agriculture Trophy) omwe unakozedwa ndi a T/A Chadza komaso mafumu ozungulira m'dera lawo.

"Mfumu singalamulire anthu amene ali ndi njala, choncho anthu am'dera lino mukuyenera kulimbikira ulimi komaso mukhale m'magulu kuti muzigula mbewu mosavuta."

Pamwambowu alimi amene achita bwino alandira mphotho zosiyanasiyana monga njinga yakapalasa, wilibala , matumba a Fertilizer ndizina zambiri.

Ndalama zokwana 4.3 million kwacha ndizomwe zagwira ntchito pokonza mwambuwu.
