The six letters of the word MURDER will help you remember a revision technique.

M=Mood. Put yourself into a good mood
to study. Choose a good place to work. Prepare yourself to work for the time set on your revision timetable. Be positive!
U=Understand. Think about what you understand about the topic. Think about what you don't understand . Now read the text to understand more.
R= Recall. Put what you have read into your own words . Recite it.
D=Digest. Think about what you have read . Are you sure you understand it ?Go back to the text . If you still don't understand , ask another student or your teacher for help.
E=Explain. Think about how you can use the information . How could you explain it to others? Imagine exam questions on the topic, how would you answer them?
R=Review.Go over the material again in the next few days.
