TRAINING AND SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT MALAWI COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES
SCHOLARSHIPS UNDER THE PRESIDENTIAL INITIATIVE FOR MATERNAL HEALTH
The Malawi College of Health Sciences (MCHS) invites applications for the October/November 2025 intake for the following programs with scholarships under the Presidential Initiative for Maternal Health:
1. DIPLOMA IN ANAESTHESIA AND INTENSIVE CARE MEDICINE
- Duration: 18 months
- Locations: Blantyre and Lilongwe
- Admission
REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Medical Assistants or Nurse Midwife Technicians with at least 2 years of experience.
MSCE or equivalent with credit passes in Mathematics, Biology, Physical Science, and English.
Must be registered with the Medical Council of Malawi or the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.
2. DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING - UPGRADING
- Duration: 12 months
- Locations: Lilongwe, Blantyre, and Zomba
- Admission
REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Nursing Midwifery Technicians with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.
MSCE or equivalent.
3. CERTIFICATE IN COMMUNITY MIDWIFERY ASSISTANT
- Duration: 18 months
- Locations: Lilongwe, Blantyre, and Zomba
- Admission requirements: Credit passes in English and Biology and passes in Mathematics, Science, Physical Science, Chemistry, or Physics.
