RESOLUTION OF 2026 EXAMINATION REGISTRATION QUERIES

The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) wishes to inform all Examination Centres that submitted registration-related queries to the Board that they will be granted an opportunity to resolve their queries.

The Centres will be allowed to register, amend or make necessary examination
payments on 12th January 2026. The registration portals will open at 5:00 AM
and close at 12:00 midnight.

This window will strictly apply to Centres that have formally submitted their queries and proof of payment of the applicable fine to MANEB. Centres that have not yet settled their fines will not be permitted access. Examination Centres are, therefore, being reminded to cooperate and submit their queries and proof of payment through email ([email protected]) by
11th January 2026 in order to be enabled access to the registration system on
the stated date.

Please take note that there will be no further registration opportunities beyond
this date.

MZUZU UNIVERSITY EXPELS 32 STUDENTS OVER ACADEMIC MISCONDUCT

Mzuzu University has expelled 32 students for academic misconduct committed during the 2024/25 end-of-semester examinations.

Other students involved in the cases have been given formal warnings, others have been given suspension

Postmortem results have confirmed that Mzuzu University student Gracious Mwandira (24) died due to hypoglycaemia.

The third-year student went out in Luwinga and did not return to his residence. His body was later found near the Central Medical Stores offices and was taken to Mzuzu Central Hospital where the cause of death was confirmed. He hailed from Chitipa District.

May his soul rest in peace.
