"Malawi Music Industry Does Not Favour Producers " - Legendary Producer, Pro P*e cries out after getting K2,000 in royalties.

The Producer, who made hits for big names including Piksy, Armstrong, Maskal, Hyphen, etc, posted ;-

" Hey everyone,

I Propee, wanted to share my recent experience with COSOMA regarding the announcement they made a few weeks ago about disbursing royalties to artists who have performed well.

So, after hearing about this, I took some time off work and headed to COSOMA two days later to see if I, as an artist, could also receive my share.

On that day, the person in charge of the payments asked me to sign a form to get approval from COSOMA regarding the amount they were supposed to give me. At that time, I didn't see how others were receiving money from COSOMA.

He then instructed me to check in with him via WhatsApp the next day to find out how much COSOMA had allocated to me. And as instructed, I messaged him the following day to get the details.
