This week, we recognise Roy Howa, a recent Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Cultural Studies (BACCS) graduate whose passion for truth-telling and accountability has opened an exciting new chapter in his journalism journey.
Roy has secured an internship with the Platform for Investigative Journalism (PIJ) Malawi’s leading and respected investigative online media platform revered for its bold, evidence-based reporting and commitment to public-interest journalism. This achievement marks a major milestone in his professional growth.
: Roy has joined PIJ due to its independence and commitment to confronting challenging stories with a focus on accuracy, fairness, and accountability. He values PIJ's dedication to in-depth reporting, producing thoroughly investigated and evidence-based stories.
