Movie Magic in action on the set of ! 🪄🎬\n\nSometimes getting certain scenes can be quite challenging production wise.\n\nSo that’s when we use Movie Magic and tend to “cheat” things to get the desired effect.\n\nThis is an example of where shooting this dialogue scene on the water would impose a ton of technical challenges.\n\nSo instead of doing that, they put the boat on land, with the lake in the background.\n\nThe boat was being moved around to simulate the movement of the water.\n\nBy having the boat on land, the DP was also able to diffuse the sunlight on the Actors faces, which would have been a lot harder to do if they were on the water.\n\nHave you ever had to cheat things around to get a shot?\n\nTell us about it in the comments! 👇 \n\n🎥: \n________________________________________⁣\n⁣\nUse Hashtag and tag us to be featured!⁣\n•⁣\n•⁣\n•⁣\n•⁣\n•⁣\n

The fight scene between Hulk and Thor in "The Avengers" (2012) was a mix of live-action stunts, motion capture, and CGI to create the intense battle aboard the Helicarrier. 🎥🦸‍♂️🟢\n\nMark Ruffalo’s performance as Hulk involved motion capture, where his movements and facial expressions were captured using advanced sensors and cameras. The VFX team used this data to animate Hulk’s massive, muscular body while retaining Ruffalo's unique expressions to humanize the character. 💪🖥️\n\nFor Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, the action sequences were carefully choreographed with stunt doubles and practical effects. The team used wires and rigs to simulate the impact of Hulk’s powerful punches and throws, enhancing the realism of their superhuman combat. ⚡💥\n\nCGI was heavily used to portray the destruction caused by their fight. From Hulk grabbing Thor and slamming him into the walls to Thor’s use of Mjölnir, every detail was designed to showcase their incredible strength. Mjölnir’s glow and lightning effects were added digitally, amplifying Thor’s godly power. 🔨⚡\n\nThe interaction between Hulk and Thor was further polished with sound design and dynamic camera work, giving a sense of weight and chaos.
