*Real Time Woodpecker Update‼️*
If you have yet to hear, Jay and I have been battling a massive and troublesome problem in Chiapas for the past month. A woodpecker(s) completely destroyed our Sitka Spruce masts, meaning both the main and the mizzen. By the look of the destruction, they were most definitely trying to make nests but failed to do so when they figured out our masts are hollow. If it wasn’t for the cruiser community reaching out to let us know what was going on… our sailing dreams would of come to a halt next season. 6 years of grinding away at the dream aboard our Cheoylee Offshore 41’⛵️ As we always like to say, don’t wish for it; work for it! We got our sailboat ocean worthy and made the jump down south 2 years ago! Crazy to think what a little hard work can do and where it can take us!
