Life has a way of shifting you in new directions… and this is one of those moments.
Yes, it’s true… Sitka is for sale.
After 10 years and over 8,000 nautical miles, she’s given us more than we could have ever dreamed of. From offshore cruising in the pacific to transiting to the Atlantic, she’s been our home, our adventure, and a huge part of our story.
We have a new chapter ahead of us now. We are moving to Nova Scotia on the east coast of Canada to build our off-grid home in the countryside. Alongside that decision, we’ve realized we can’t balance both sea life and land life right now. Sitka deserves to be out there, sailing the big blue, not sitting still.
This wasn’t an easy decision. A piece of us will always belong to the ocean. And we know this isn’t the end of cruising for us, just a pause while we build something new.
