A message from Naren K. Schreiner:

"Hello friends! I have a couple boxes of CDs in my garage. Maybe you are like me--I love CDs and Vinyls, but I'm streaming music more than ever. CDs are not in demand anymore.

For those who still want CDs, I'm offering my CDs for $1.08 (Bandcamp won't let me give them away for free) and all I ask is that you pay $5.00 for the shipping (international shipping will cost a lot more)

Please spread the word, and if you want to place a big order, just message me and we'll hook you up with a box for your community!
.. And while I have your attention: thank you for supporting my sacred music projects over the years. It's truly been a joy. I never dreamed of recording. It was Usha Ma at Kali Mandir who pushed me to record "Esho Ma" in 2012. I had never sung into a mic since being a kid. After that it was 4 more albums. I feel blessed because devotees from all over tell me that my music is part of their daily life, their devotion, their difficult moments and special moments (several people told me that they listened to my albums while giving birth!)

Now my life is focused on so many other avenues of service, that's why I don't record anymore. BUT....lots of people are urging me to record again, so if you're feeling that too, let me know...you can help inspire and curate my next album. Jai Guru! Ja Ma!"

“Sound or vibration is the most powerful force in the universe. Music is a divine art, to be used not only for pleasure but as a path to God-realization.” - Paramahansa Yogananda

After celebrating with over 150 Indians living in Mexico, as well as over 60 Mexicans and Americans, we continued worship the following day with sacred chants, dance and prayer at the Temple, the Mother of Gods in the Mexica (aka aztec) tradition. Such joy to see a gathering of Mexicans, Indians (from India, not from Columbus’s error) and Americans united voluntarily from the heart and with reverence. Thank you Alonso Rosado for creating this video.

In honor of the mahasamadhi of Paramahansa Yogananda, March 7th 1952 and his Guru, Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri on March 9th 1936...

"I remember when my Master [Swami Sri Yukteswar] asked me, ‘Do you love everybody equally?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ But he said, ‘Not yet, not yet.’ Then my youngest brother came to study in my school at Ranchi, and I had that consciousness that he was mine. I realized then why my Master had said, ‘Not yet.’ Gradually that consciousness wore off, and I realized that my brother was but a part of all humanity which I loved....One day, again, Master asked me, ‘Do you love the whole world?’ I just said, ‘I love.’ And he smiled and said, ‘Your work is finished.’"

January 5, 1893, Mukunda Lal Ghosh was born in Gorakpur, India. Later as Paramahansa Yogananda, he graced India and the West with his service, divine love and teachings.

Aneka-janma-samprāpta- sarva-karma-vidāhine,
Svātmajnāna-prabhāvena tasmai śrīgurave namah.

The Guru awakens the power of Self-knowledge which burns up all the karmas acquired through countless lifetimes. I bow to the Divine Guru.

Ayam mayānjalirbaddho dayā-sāgara-vruddhaye,
Yad-anugrahato jantuś citra-samsāra-muktibhāk.

I fold my hands in prayer, so that the ocean of compassion may expand within me. By Guru’s grace a mortal being is liberated from the limited world.

Ānandamānandakaram prasannam jnānasvarūpam nijabodhayuktam,
Yogīndramīdyam bhavarogavaidyam śrīmadgurum nityamaham namāmi.

Permeated with bliss, emanating delight, always cheerful. The Guru’s very nature is wisdom and Self-realization.The Guru is great among yogis, attracts our adoration, and is the physician for the disease of ignorance and suffering. I eternally bow to the Divine Guru.

Paramahansa Yogananda Jayanti
