Refuge of Hope is looking for 1 or 2 small apartments or rooms for 2 of our single-mom families. We are looking in Ovando, Las Brisas, Unidad, Paraiso del Indio, Loma Bonita, Tule Dorado. Rent needs to be low - 2500-4000 but Refuge of Hope will guarantee the annual contract. Please send us a message if you know of such a place - we would like to immediately if possible. Gracias!!

Making the Move to Mexico

Seven years ago we packed a few bags, put the kids in our RV and set off for a one year bucket list adventure that included travelling throughout the US and then finish with a full year in beautiful Bucerias Mexico. More than seven year later we are still here.

With all the current chaos in the world now and with increased costs, decreased wages or even prolonged unemployment with no real prospects other than working for Amazon or Wallmart, we noticed a surge in people posting to Facebook groups about the idea of moving to Mexico. After following the comments and posts which can be pretty overwhelming as it could be several hundred personal opinions, we decided to create a service and content that will simplify this for those of you who want to make the move or even if you are just curious there is likely something here for you.
