From Bounce Fit to Supple Strength,Power Weights and Low Impact Exercise for older adults. All of our classes are taught by Claire and Scott who have a real passion for creating a fun environment and getting the best out of their customers.

We are going back to the 80’s and introducing the step touch. This is such a fun move that you can keep low impact or ramp it up as we stamp down through the mat and jazz up the arms. Plus if you are feeling brave we can move around the world and turning on our trampoline.  
Remember keep things safe and if you are not here yet then that is ok.

Being able to move side to side and forward and back in your workouts can make things less boring. So let’s try today taking some taps to the side and forward. You will find lots of moves require this technique so it’s a good one to practice at a low impact level, adding in a small bounce when you gain confidence.

It’s time to start adding in some different leg moves now and try just a simple march on the rebounder.   
Walking workouts are really popular and are a great way to change up the rock and the basic bounce and add something a little different.   
Start off with no bounce at all and then when you feel ready you can pick up the feet more and turn this into more of a march or stomp. Don’t forget about the arms with this one.

Today we are moving onto the 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞, the one move that you are going to use time and time again during our workouts.... and wow what a move this is!  

You can keep this gentle or you can ramp things up by using the push down through the mat, lifting up through your knees and creating space between your feet and the mat. Remember though rebounding is not about jumping high but more about using our legs to push past the force of gravity and absorb the bounce.

The rock side to side tends to be easier for a lot of people to master rather than the basic bounce so today we are elaborating on the double rock and taking it into single time.  

Practice both of these moves so you get used to the feeling of the mat under your feet. Don’t over do it and keep your sessions short so that you don’t over do it.
