Emporia Publishing developed out of the Emporia Initiative, which was funded in 2012 by the Rev. James Peter Bramhan, Ph.D. as a charitable non-profit 501(c)(3) educational and literary trust, in order to help local writers in Virginia more easily access the publishing marketplace. After five years we decided to expand our work to cover all types of authors and writing, everywhere in the world.
