In a simple three step triptych painting, Body, Mind, Spirit, points to the mystery of multidimensional reality within our own being. The self is a lens for consciousness that is drawn upward to face the lamp of the Soul. It is common for us to identify with our body, yet we recognize that the body provides only temporary housing for our states of consciousness and timeless spirit. Pointing to the invisible dimensions of being that give our lives higher meaning is part of the function of mystic visionary art.
