Have you ever visited Playa Mujeres?

This was my first time spending a full day here, and I was surprised by how different it feels from Isla Mujeres. The sand is finer, the beach is wider, and the whole area has a very different vibe.

As someone born and raised in Isla Mujeres, seeing my island from this side was a strange but beautiful experience.

Definitely coming back to explore more and share what I find.

Take a walk.
Watch the ocean.
Drink a coconut.
Breathe.

Sometimes what feels like an ending is actually the beginning of something better.

The best is yet to come.

Six months ago, I wasn’t creating content.

Today, I’m sharing the Isla Mujeres I know and love with people from all over the world.

The turtles, the octopus, the birds, the hidden beaches, the sunrises, the rainy days, and the little moments that make this island so special.

I never expected this project to grow the way it has, and I’m grateful for every person who follows along.

Facebook just enabled Stars on my page.

My goal is simple:

One Star.

Let’s see who becomes the first official supporter in Isla Mujeres OnlyVibes history.

I hear the sound of the eagle, look up, and start recording.
A few seconds later I realize it’s carrying a rat in its claws.

Crazy to think I’ve lived surrounded by nature my whole life and never paid this much attention before.

From what I’ve read and heard from locals, birds of prey like this find Isla Mujeres perfect for hunting and nesting because of the mangroves, open coastline, and quieter natural areas that still exist around the island.

I like to think it was flying home to feed its nest or maybe its partner.

The more I observe nature, the more I realize it doesn’t need us to interfere, just respect it.
