: Uber started operations in La Paz

The Uber Company started operations in La Paz city this Monday at 8:00 a.m. The announce was made by an e-mail to all their users who live in the capital of Baja California Sur.

La Paz is now, the firs city in Baja California Sur with this kind of service. So far, the State authorities have not given a statement about this issue.

So far, the response of the people has been positive, and they have celebrated the arrival of the service, which will represent an alternative for transportation in the city.

Now, a trip from the malecón (at downtown) to airport is about 90 pesos, while a taxis charges until 300 pesos
