Father Luis Armando Quintal Medina, a 70-year-old meliponiculturist from Huncuma, has spent the last 30 years caring for the sacred stingless bees known as Melipona beecheii. His bee farm, shaded by native trees and filled with the hum of wings, is more than a source of honey—it is a sanctuary of culture, ecology, and tradition.”

Today is Flag Day. On this date, in 1777, the United States approved the design of its first flag. The Flag Resolution stated “That the flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation.”

📷 - In the Archives
Been seeing a lot of photos of the Northern Lights this week and wanted to share a photo I took in Montana in 2015 while documenting the Bakken Oil Boom. With all the violence and graphic images out there Dustin these two major wars, it was nice to just see more images of our beautiful planet, and what we have to appreciate if we just stopped killing each other.

This experience was one that I was so great full to witness.
