I promised myself that I would never release ANYTHING that wouldn't have any significance musically, melodically or rhythmically.

OTERO VARGAS is a veteran of the alternative electronic music in MEXICALI BAJA, MEXICO, in the early 90's I used to go to his rehearsal space and see all his synths and set ups and I remember being in awe ... he and his friends used to do heavy industrial loops and noise with some dance-y connotations to it.

Time has passed and Julio (né) Otero Vargas is a grown grumpy sociopath with hearth of gold who makes sufficient ambient to calm anxiety and at the same time he can get his grump out and splash you with some cold water in the face.

With enough experience to be a music critic or an internationally known producer, he remained low key and quiet producing music for himself all this years.
