Tonight the film world gathers for the Oscars.

Before the awards are announced, we’re revisiting a moment that already feels like a win for us. During the Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia , CORONEL partnered with and The Secret Agent to host the Mexico premiere and after-party of the film, alongside its director Kleber Mendonça Filho kleber_mendonca_filho

Set during the energy of Morelia’s film week, the evening brought together filmmakers, artists, press, and cultural voices to celebrate one of the year’s most talked-about films. Since then, the film has continued its remarkable run across the international circuit earning Best Director and Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival, followed by two Golden Globe Awards in 2026, and now arriving at the Academy Awards with four nominations including Best Picture and Best International Feature.

At CORONEL, we believe cinema doesn’t only live on screen it lives in the moments where culture gathers around it.

Looking back through the archives, it’s hard not to pause. From the very beginning, we were fortunate — not just for the projects, but for the people, the timing, and the community that formed around us.

Back in 2016, we were already partnering with brands, creators, and experiences that shaped our way of working. From our early days with , developing experiential and influencer-led projects, to crafting moments with and . From curated visuals and campaigns with and the emerging creators of that moment, to collaborations with during the .anderson era, and the launch experience in Mexico City.

Ten years ago, we also began our partnership with and — a relationship that continues today, as Montelobos stands as the world’s leading premium mezcal brand.

As part of our annual tradition, our 2026 postcard is here!!

This year, our theme is “Florecer” Not as a sudden bloom, but as a process shaped by time, intention, and consistency — the work that happens before results are visible. ✨🌸

To bring this idea to life, we collaborated with , a multidisciplinary artist whose practice translates organic forms into structured visual systems. His work reflects cycles we value at CORONEL: grounding ideas, refining direction, and allowing projects to emerge with clarity.

For us, this postcard marks a shift. 2025 was about Creating Magic & 2026 is about new beginnings — growing with intention and expanding only where it makes sense “Florecer” is not about doing more. It’s about doing what matters, with focus and discipline.

Art Basel Miami Beach may be over, but the work keeps moving.

Before we shift our focus to Art Week Mexico City, we’re revisiting one of last year’s highlights: the Perrier × Daniel Barreto collaboration — a curated set of objects and interventions that brought the artist’s lucid-dream aesthetic directly onto the show floor.

The Perrier Cart became a mobile installation, transformed through Barreto’s color, motion, and surreal visual language. The result: an activation where refreshment and contemporary art shared the same terrain.

In collaboration with BVrg Agency, Perrier, and Art Basel, CORONEL developed the creative direction and on-site experience — shaping a moment that connected brand, artist, and audience through design and intention.

Art Basel has closed its doors, but the momentum continues. The countdown to Art Week Mexico City begins now.

Skip the crowds and chase the unexpected.

In Mérida’s historic center, a 19th-century house enters a new stage. .merida opens with restored structures, updated circulation, and a design approach shaped by hospitality ethos, the founders’ vision, and the intention to revitalize downtown Mérida through architecture and thoughtful intervention — all while keeping the original structure at the forefront.

Beyond its preserved façade, the property extends into courtyards, controlled shadows, henequén textures, and rooms defined by marble, stone, and air.

At CORONEL, we accompany Sevilla through social strategy, and digital storytelling — shaping a narrative rooted in its architecture and the balance between heritage and contemporary intention.

Sevilla is now fully open, defined by structure, light, and measured intervention.

As we danced beneath the full moon, we were reminded of the power of creating with intention — projects that carry meaning, depth, and emotion; collective experiences that connect us to one another.

Together with Montelobos Mezcal, we opened a portal — a living connection between the ancestral and what still beats within us.�Our final ofrenda of the season, Ofrenda de Lobos, became a space where Montelobos didn’t just honor tradition — it transformed it, pushed it forward, and carried it beyond the altar, beyond remembrance, beyond origin.

Because celebrating those who are no longer here is also an act of invoking what moves us: the soul, the memory, the pack.�An offering for what has been.�A ritual for what’s yet to come.

Endless gratitude to the artists, production team, experiential logistics, bar operations, and the incredible staff who made last night possible — where music became more than sound; it became a passage.
