Meet Apollo 🐾The gentle soul who just wants love, laughter and a place to call home…
Goofy, sweet, and full of heart — Apollo is between 7 and 9 years old, and every moment with him is pure joy. He loves a good game of fetch, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and knows all his social manners. 🐶💛
He’s fully potty trained, listens to basic commands, and even enjoys bath time (yes, really!). Whether it’s a soft bed, peaceful walks, or quiet cuddles, Apollo is ready to share his love with the family who will finally give him the second chance he’s been waiting for.

I’m so upset. And I’m so heartbroken. This beautiful boy never got the life he deserved. After rushing him to the emergency vet, we found out he had a badly injured jaw, and one eye had a serious infection. He was extremely underweight (because he couldn’t eat), covered in fleas and mites, with a heart rate far below what it should be. He was fading fast. The vet said he had likely been hurt in a traffic accident. Who knows how long he was struggling like this. Clearly in deep distress and unbearable discomfort. 💔
He was too far gone, so the kindest thing we could do was to gently let him go — to give him peace. 😿
He was an unneutered male, wandering the streets of Harlem for who knows how long. We couldn’t even tell his age because what teeth he still had were badly damaged from the trauma.
He never got a chance. Like so many out there. This is such a heartbreaking reality. Why didn’t anyone step in earlier? Why/how did he end up in this state in the first place? It’s not fair. The ongoing struggles for these street cats are real!! They don’t deserve this kind of life!
But I’m thankful I was able to reach him in time — and so grateful he wasn’t left alone to fade away on the street, like so many sadly are. 🙏 I named him Frederick, after the street where I found him.

This neglected poodle was starved for so long he'd forgotten how to eat 💔
For so long, no bowl, no gentle touch, no reason to wag his tail. Hunger had stolen even the memory of food. But kindness brought him back — one tiny bite, then another, until hope slowly returned to his tired eyes. 🌸

💔🐾 Goodbye, my sweet girl.
She was only a year old… and today, she’s gone. Last night she curled up next to me like always — this morning, my little shadow didn’t wake up. The vet said it was parvo, a cruel illness that can take the youngest, happiest pups far too soon.
She wasn’t “just a dog.” She was family — my heartbeat, my joy, my best friend. Now the house is quiet, and my heart feels so heavy.
If you’ve ever loved a pet, you know this pain. Please, hug your fur babies a little tighter tonight. Play with them a bit longer. Tomorrow is never promised.

A homeless man lies collapsed on the cold sidewalk, yellow caution tape fluttering nearby. Yet beside him sits a loyal soul — his dog, refusing to leave. Silent, still, protective.
