This is the answer to the question we get almost every day - how we afford to travel! (We are now just 1 country away from visiting every country in the world, but publishing this video again since it's a common question!)

1. The biggest thing we’ve done is eliminate expenses. Until this year, we didn't have a home or car for 8 years. We also held off on having a family longer than we originally wanted to prioritize travel.

2. We intentionally saved for 4 years before we started traveling. For anyone who wants to do long term travel, we highly recommend saving for at least a couple years first. It’s not always easy but it made a big difference for us.

3. We use credit card points as if they’re cash. Many people do luxury travel experiences (and hopefully we can someday!) but we would rather use our credit card points for multiple different flights vs. one luxury one.

4. We travel on a budget. We eat street food, stay in cheap places, and try to always fly budget flights. Happy if this changes someday haha, traveling on a budget isn’t necessarily our favorite but we’re thankful it’s allowed us to extend our travel.

5. We work online. We’ve done many things including teaching English and selling things on Amazon, but now we are full time travel content creators.

If you want to travel more, the biggest thing we recommend is to start intentionally saving. If you can save $5 a day, in 3 years you can have $5000+ toward visiting your dream location.

We chose the word dream "location" instead of dream "vacation" because everyone has a different idea of what their dream vacation is like. But even the most seemingly expensive places can be done for less. For example, when we visited the Maldives and French Polynesia, we stayed on local islands / cheap AirBnbs and ate ramen. Again hopefully that can change someday haha but we still had a trip of a lifetime, so set a travel budget that works for you - and we hope this post can help people interested in traveling more!

Send this to a friend who would explore this unforgettable drive with you! 🚗🌄

📍Name: Valley of the Gods
Location: Southeastern Utah – near Mexican Hat & Monument Valley
Distance: 17-mile scenic dirt road
Road: Unpaved but drivable

🚗How To Get There : Valley of the Gods is located off US-163 near Mexican Hat, Utah. The 17-mile road connects to UT-261 and winds through towering sandstone buttes and mesas. A high-clearance vehicle is best since it is unpaved, but in dry conditions many regular cars can make the drive slowly.

🏔️ Most travelers head straight to Monument Valley ($8 per person), but Valley of the Gods ($ Free 😁) offers the same jaw-dropping desert scenery with hardly any crowds. (Drones are also allowed on this drive.) We felt like we had the entire landscape to ourselves as we drove between massive rock formations rising out of the desert floor. It was peaceful, dramatic, and felt like discovering a secret corner of the Southwest.

🛑 The road is unpaved and can become hard to drive after rain, so check conditions before heading out. There are no facilities, so bring water, snacks, and a full tank of gas.

🥾Other Nearby Spots:
-Monument Valley Scenic Drive: Iconic buttes & mesas
-Goosenecks State Park: Overlooks of the San Juan River
-Moki Dugway: Thrilling dirt road up the cliffs with epic views

Send this to a friend who would explore Nevada’s hidden gem with you! 🔥🌄

📍Name: Valley of Fire State Park
📸Photo: The spot in the video is on Mouse’s Tank Road
Location: 1 hour from Las Vegas
Distance: Various short hikes & scenic drives

🚗How To Get There : From Las Vegas, drive north on I-15 for about 45 minutes, then take Exit 75 onto Valley of Fire Highway. The park entrance is about 15 miles from the exit, with a $10 per vehicle fee.

🏔️ Most people come to Vegas for the casinos and nightlife, but just an hour away is one of the most stunning state parks we’ve ever seen. The fiery red rock formations, petroglyphs, and winding slot canyons feel like you’ve stepped onto another planet. We loved hiking to Fire Wave and taking photos on Mouse’s Tank Road. It was way quieter than the national parks and just as breathtaking.

🛑 Summer temperatures can soar above 110°F, so bring lots of water and hike early or late in the day. Cell service is limited, so download maps before you go.

🥾Other Valley of Fire Trails:
-Fire Wave Trail
- Petroglyph Canyon via Mouse's Tank Trail
-Mouse’s Tank Road

🥳 Send this to someone you want to explore the world with! Do you agree with this list??! Which countries are your top 5 list for natural beauty?!

🌍If you're new here, we've traveled to 197 countries and make videos sharing the best destinations, experiences, and travel tips for your next trip.

One of the most common questions we're asked is "what are the most beautiful destinations I should visit?" So this series lists 25 of our favorites!

16 Greece: Sooooo many people talk about how beautiful Greece is that I was determined to say that it was overrated. But then we visited Greece and... blue water, charming islands, and rocky coasts, are a few things that make Greece one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Although Santorini and Mykonos get all the hype, they also have all the crowds. We found Zakynthos to be our favorite island for natural beauty.

15 Mexico: Mexico is the country we've spent the most time in outside the US and to me is one of the most beautiful. But I tried my best not to be too biased. Everyone knows the beaches of Mexico, but there are cenotes, waterfalls, jungles, mountains, and more. That's not even accounting for Mexico's food, culture, and people. Outside of the main tourist areas of Cancun and Cabo are some incredible places that are just a few hours flight away from the US.

14 Thailand: Google Thailand islands and it's easy to see why this country made this list. Secretly though this country holds a special place in our heart. We've been several times and always stay longer than we originally plan on. This list is just based on beauty, but the food, culture, and affordability of Thailand are all also great reasons why you need to visit!

Send this to a friend who would drive this road with you! 🚗🌄

📍Name : Potash Road (Utah Scenic Byway 279)
Location: Moab, Utah, USA
Distance: ~17 miles one way
Drive: Minimal Pull-offs.

🚗How To Get There : From downtown Moab it is just a 12 minute drive! The exact location is near "Wall Street Climbing Area" on google maps. follows the Colorado River and winds past towering red cliffs, petroglyph panels.

🏔️ Driving Potash Road was such a surprise highlight of our trip! Sometimes there are places that don't live up to the hype in real life but the views were unreal. There were a few people climbing the canyon walls, but other than that it was a big difference from the crowds at the nearby National Parks.

🥾Nearby Moab Spots: (escape the crowds)
-Potash Road Dinosaur Tracks and Petroglyphs
-Corona Arch Trailhead

🥾Other Moab Spots:
-Arches National Park: Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch
-Canyonlands National Park: Mesa Arch, Grand View Point
-Dead Horse Point State Park: Epic canyon overlooks

We've visited almost every country in the world and Palau is one of the most underrated! (especially if you love the ocean! 🐠😍)

If you've never heard of it, you're not alone! Its population is so small that - at 16,000 people - the entire country could fit into a basketball stadium!

But this place is home to some of the most beautiful islands, blue water, and incredible ocean wildlife. For a quieter, more adventurous vacation, Palau is incredible! 😍 Visit before it becomes too crowded.

Here are a few places you need to visit in the beautiful country of Palau:
🪼🌊Jellyfish Lake: depending on the year, you can swim with millions of stingless jellyfish - although when we went there were not many
🏝️🛶Rock Islands: a UNESCO World Heritage Site with 300+ beautiful limestone islands
🦈🤿Blue Corner: one of the world’s best dive sites, famous for its shark sightings!
🐠🤿German Channel: another world-class dive site known for manta rays!
🛶🛁Milky Way Lagoon: a natural spa where you can cover yourself in white limestone mud
🏖️🌅Long Beach: a breathtaking sandbar that emerges at low tide

Is Palau on your bucket list?!

Send this to a friend who would visit this iconic road with you! 🏃‍♂️🌄

📍Name : Forrest Gump Point
Location: Monument Valley, Utah–Arizona Border, USA
Distance : Roadside viewpoint (no hike required)

🏔️ This is the exact spot where Forrest Gump stopped running in the movie, and the view is even more breathtaking in person. The long stretch of highway lined up perfectly with Monument Valley’s towering buttes makes for one of the most iconic road trip photos in the U.S. It feels straight out a movie set because many movies have used this location!

🚗How To Get There : Forrest Gump Point is located along US-163, about 15 minutes north of Monument Valley Tribal Park. It’s clearly marked on maps, and you’ll often see cars pulled over on the shoulder for the famous photo. Parking is limited to the roadside, so use caution with traffic.

🥾Other Monument Valley Spots:
-Scenic Drive inside Monument Valley Tribal Park (17 miles, self-drive. $8 per person)
-Three Sisters Overlook
-Artist’s Point Overlook

🥳 Send this to someone you want to explore the world with! Do you agree with this list??! Which countries are your top 5 list for natural beauty?!

🌍If you're new here, we've traveled to 197 countries and make videos sharing the best destinations, experiences, and travel tips for your next trip.

One of the most common questions we're asked is "what are the most beautiful destinations I should visit?" So this series lists 25 of our favorites!

19 Italy I wanted to say it's "overrated" because everyone travels to Italy, but it actually might be underrated for it's natural beauty. The Dolomites might be some of the most beautiful mountains we've seen. Not to mention Lake Como, Tuscany, Amalfi Coast, Cinque Terre, Sicily.... you get the picture! Paired with amazing history, culture and food make Italy one of the easiest and favorite countries to visit.

18 Philippines With more than 7,000 tropical islands Philippines' natural beauty is unreal. Crystal clear water, white sand beaches, and unreal wildlife are just a few reasons why Philippines earned it's spot on this list. In fact, the only reason it isn't higher is because there are still so many places we have to see for ourselves. Boracay might be one of the prettiest beaches we've seen in 167 countries.

17 Peru everyone knows Machu Picchu but Peru might be one of my personal favorite countries we visited based off of it's natural beauty. The Andes Mountains are not only some of the tallest in the world, but most beautiful. The entire Sacred Valley, Rainbow Mountain, Amazon Rainforest, and beaches are a few reasons why you need to visit.

Follow for the rest of our series!

The resort in this video is Panwaburi Beachfront Resort in Phuket 🌅 And Phuket is fun, but the best beaches aren’t there.

These are the places you have to visit in Thailand first:

🏝 Phi Phi Islands: crystal clear water & beautiful views
🌴 Railay Beach, Krabi: epic cliffs + chill vibes
🏙 Bangkok: busy, cultural, unforgettable
🌿 Chiang Mai: temples, mountains, and a digital nomad's dream

📍We’ve been to almost every country in the world, and Thailand is still one of our favorites.

👇Which of these are on your bucket list?

Send this to a friend who would explore Utah with you! 🚀

📍Name: Factory Butte
Location: Near Hanksville - Utah, USA
Drive: Unpaved Road
Distance : Scenic area with short walks

🚗How To Get There : Factory Butte is located about 12 miles northwest of Hanksville along Highway 24. There’s a dirt road that leads closer to the base, but even seeing it from a far gives you incredible views. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended if you plan to explore the surrounding badlands.

🏔️ Standing in front of Factory Butte feels like stepping into a sci-fi movie. The 6,300 ft flat-topped monolith rises dramatically out of the gray desert badlands, and the colors and textures change throughout the day as the light shifts. We spent time just wandering around the ridges and watching the sunset—it honestly felt like we were on another planet.

🛑 Be prepared: there’s no shade, water, or facilities in the area. Summer heat can be intense, so sunrise or sunset is the best time to visit for both comfort and photography.

🥾Other Nearby Spots:
-Moonscape Overlook: Alien-like cliffs and badlands views
-Bentonite Hills: Colorful hills
-Capitol Reef National Park: Scenic drives & canyons

A place where you can walk on water!! 10 billion tons of salt make up this place, and it's the most beautiful mirror as far as your eyes can see.

It's called El Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, and it's the largest salt flats in the world.

Highly recommend adding it to your bucket list!
