Please go the link to ask for help to The United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO), WWF and Greenpeace to bring international awareness about this problem and to add Galapagos Island on the list of 'World Heritage in Danger'.

Take a look at what it is happening, tell your friends and family and stand with the Galapagos people to protect one of the last natural paradises on earth.

This was the most amazing encounter I have ever had with a so far. It was taken in last year and since today is it's a good excuse to post it and remember that turtles need our help. Their biggest threat is humans -as usual. They are still hunted for consumption and for illegal jewelry trade so please don't buy them. Commercial fishing, pollution and beach urbanization and development also effect them. It may seem that it is not in our hands to do sth but we can all try our best I personally like to be aware of the plastic I use and re-use and reduce it where possible. I also like to pick up every piece of plastic I see on the beach. Every single bit counts if you think that one of them could end in the stomach of this beautiful creature. n to everyone ✨❤️

Why has the global environmental ambassador that we've all come to know and love so much, "National Geographic", decided to become partners with "Royal Dutch Shell", one of the richest corporations in the world and one of the worst when it comes to environmental destruction, human rights abuses, lies, cover-ups, clean ups etc. How can this partnership possibly send the right message to the 8.5million subscribers of National Geographic or for that matter, to anyone who cares about the future of our planets ecosystems. If you are not already aware of the absolute devastation Shell has caused in the Niger Delta region in Africa, I strongly advise that you search the topic and inform yourself about the corporation that is going to drill in the Arctic.
