Happy March, my second favorite month to photograph the whales of Banderas Bay. We are seeing 30+++ whales a day, while there are quite a few baby calves playing and jumping in the shallow waters of the bay with the big boys starting to move in and looking for love in the cool waters.
With only a few weeks left of whale season and our our boats are filling fast. We will take one or eight, just give us a little time to put it all together. we do have several singles that can go out starting tomorrow. We only take 5-8 people on most excursions, we try to keep it low key and personals.
Were seeing a lot of breaches, water slapping and rolling now and will increase by the day.
I'm seeing a few different whales than in the past years and missing a few. But it's a big bay it's hard to keep track of them all.
Tagalong excursions still has some great day trip openings out with us to see the whales up close and personal. We now have two boats. one leaving from Puerto Vallarta Marina and out of La Cruz our boat we have been running for a lot of years.
This is my 19th year photographing my beautiful humpbacks of Banderas Bay. Come join us on a once of a lifetime small group excursion. About 4-5 hours on the water including dropping the hydrophone and listening to them sing. It will be an experience that your will remember the rest of your life.

With whale season fast approaching the beautiful Bay of Banderas, each day Im getting more and more excited. I know this figure is staggering but last season I shot over 100,000 images of the humpbacks and pods of dolphins. It's not as bad as it sounds. each day is broken down and within an hour per day I can chose 50-60 images to make it to the publishers and the galleries.
This year promises to be a fantastic year, I will continue with my boat out of La Cruz and wife Krisy will take here new boat out of PV Marina, She has come on with her photography, I excited to see how she does. As a team we will cover the whole bay on the same day, only 4 days a week, 3 days to rest.

What a beautiful date night at Los Iguana's this weekend. My beautiful wife Krissy just gets prettier by the day. Puerto Vallarta has grown on her heart as well as that beautiful Mexican sun and beach.
Life is so good.
