We just wanted to take a minute to give a HUGE shoutout to our 12 Hope Partners ❤️🙏

About a month ago we started our YouTube memberships and we honestly didn't know what to expect. But 12 of you decided to partner with us and support what we're doing, and we just want you to know how much we appreciate you.

Our goal with this channel has always been bigger than just making videos. We want to be able to help families and people out here in our little part of the world whenever we can.

Today marks 2 years since my brother passed away (I actually just found out a few months ago that he had passed)

Although it saddens me that he's gone, I trust the Lord and I know He's in control. He has a purpose for every situation even when we don't understand it. I'm grateful that I got to spend some time with my brother here in Mexico. After being deported I hadn't been able to spend time with any of my younger brothers for about 6 years. But with Enrique, I got the chance to spend time with him, make memories with him, and even try to help him in whatever way I could. Even though I was lost myself at the time, I was still trying to help my brother

This picture was taken on his first day in Rosarito. I gave him a little tour of Rosarito, we looked for a place for him to stay and then we went and got some tacos together. That was the first time in years that we got to sit down and enjoy some tacos together. I'm also grateful that I took pictures with him. Growing up I wasn't really someone who took a lot of pictures but now I see how important they are. Because I can look back at a picture like this and it brings back so many memories. It does hurt knowing I won't get to make any more memories with him, but I will always cherish the memories that the Lord blessed me with

I'm thankful I got to spend that time with my brother Enrique. And I'm thankful I have these few pictures to look back on and remember those moments we had together 🙏

Pensando en mi infancia, recuerdo los intentos de cruzar la frontera ilegalmente con mi familia. Varias veces nos agarró la migra, pero la última vez llegamos. Tengo memorias vívidas de esos momentos, aunque era muy pequeño.

Desde niño, sentía una extraña atracción por la maldad y las cosas de la calle. Las pandillas me fascinaban, quizás por influencias familiares. Fue un camino que aprendí a evitar, pues solo trae cosas malas.

En 2016, tras cumplir mi libertad condicional, cometí infracciones que me llevaron de nuevo a la cárcel. Con una orden de retención de ICE, me ofrecieron un programa, pero al final, elegí la deportación.

A los once años, mi vida cambió para siempre al caer en la cárcel por primera vez. Ser menor de edad me salvó de la deportación, pero las pandillas trajeron consigo un camino oscuro. Comparto esto no para glorificar, sino para mostrar la persona que fui: alguien atraído por la maldad, aunque con buen corazón. Gracias a Dios, su presencia prevaleció sobre mi oscuridad.
