ANNALS OF HEPATOLOGY new stage: an open access journal
Founded in 2002, AoH provides an opportunity for researchers and scientists to explore the state-of-the-art developments in the field of the liver and its diseases in both humans and experimental models. Sponsored by the Medica Sur Clinic Foundation. The Official Journal of the Mexican Association of Hepatology (2002), the Latin American Association for the Study of the Liver (2007) and the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver (2013) and Czech Society of Hepatology (2019). The only journal in the Thomson Reuter register in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology from a Latin American country. In April 2018, we launched a restructuring of the journal with the aim of making it one of the best in its field worldwide. OurEditor in chief, Dr. Arturo Panduro, and a team of prestigious researchers, Drs. Marco Arrese, Norberto Chávez-Tapia, Claudio Tiribelli, and Misael Uribe, are striving to disseminate the journal globally, reduce its publishing times and increase its impact factor.
